Legendary LA based street artist RISK supports CHOOSE LOVE with this timed release.

Kelly Graval, the multi-talented fine artist, illustrator and graffiti artist known as RISK, has been synonymous with the Los Angeles art community for decades. With a career spanning 30 years, Risk has solidified his place in the history books as a world-renowned graffiti legend. He has come a long way since he pioneered the painting of freeway overpasses, signs and billboards, dubbed “heavens”. Although Risk loves aerosol art, he sees it as merely one genre in his life’s work. From his days as a student at the USC School of Fine Arts to gallery and museum exhibits around the globe, Risk has transformed from a street artist to a rising star in the contemporary art world.

His Edition for Choose Love features two hearts, one in brilliant blue, the other in passionate red. What makes this artwork unique is that these hearts are formed from two hand-torn halves, matched to create a complete heart.

Two people in the world will own half of yours, one will have the other blue and one the other red - you will be connected to these strangers by choosing love, and everyone owning an edition will be part of a worldwide network of interconnected hearts.

In a world often divided by borders, politics, and beliefs, RISK's art transcends these barriers, urging us to embrace love and unity. The fragmented hearts symbolise our shared humanity, and the colours represent the diverse emotions that connect us all.

Choose Love does whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving rescue boats to food and legal advice. Since Choose Love was founded in 2015, Choose Love has supported almost 5 million people. Everything Choose Love does is powered by a vision of a world that chooses love and justice every day, for everyone.
