Ukraine expects ‘record number’ of Russian drone attacks this winter – as it happened last year! 

Significant damage and destruction of critical infrastructure continues to severely impact access of the civilian population to electricity, heating, water and telecommunications. If massive blackouts repeat, smaller generators burning diesel and other fuels provided are the last resort - like last winter. 

Ukraine’s air force expects a record number of Russian drone attacks on its soil this winter as Kyiv girds for a second winter of mass bombardment of its energy facilities. Civilians in parts of the country will be left without power, heating or water as a result of those Russian attacks on infrastructure, and could face frostbite, hypothermia and pneumonia. Temperatures will get as low as -20C! 

With the The Be an Angel “Sviatyi Vechir” (Holy Evening) Art Drops (starting November 22 until December) we help to put into effect our Winter Response Plan, which focuses on providing support to front-line communities, those in hard-to-reach areas and in collective centres, to get through a second life threatening winter at war with Russia. 

Be an Angel e.V. is a NGO organising relief supplies for this struggling nation. More than 4.700 tons of supplies and 1.000 generators have been provided to this date.

A series of artists will release Timed Releases and Limited Editions in support of Be an Angel eV and their work in Ukraine.
